Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DEMOREST, Georgia -- The Piedmont College volleyball team had little trouble this afternoon as the squad breezed past both Judson College and Spelman College by identical 3-0 scores in the team's 2012 home-opener as part of a non-conference tri-match.  The wins up the Lady Lions' overall record to 5-2 on the season.

In the opener, Piedmont downed the Eagles of Judson 25-14, 25-14, 25-14 behind a team-high nine kills from KAITLIN NORMAN.  XANDY GREEN dished out 11 assists while PAIGE ESLINGER posted a team-high nine digs. 

Later in the afternoon, PC tallied another straight-set win by the score of 25-13, 25-10, 25-15 over Spelman.  Norman was again the team's kill leader with eight with ASHLEY FANNON totaling a team-best 12 assists.  Eslinger was again the team's defensive leader with 11 digs. 

Piedmont will return to action on Tuesday, September 11 when the team plays host to NAIA Point University with first serve scheduled for 6:00 PM in Cave Arena.
