The mission of the Piedmont University Athletic Department is based on the belief that intercollegiate athletics are an integral part of the institution's overall educational program and contribute to the complete development of its students. The athletic department’s top priority is its student-athletes, as we believe that proper direction and motivation will help them grow academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually. The ultimate goal is to provide each student-athlete with the tools necessary to be successful in life.
Our athletic department mission statement is derived from these six core values that serve as guiding principles in everything that we do on the playing fields, in the offices and classrooms, on campus, and in the community.
