Box Score ROME, Georgia -- The Piedmont College volleyball team had its six-match winning streak snapped this evening with a 3-0 loss at Shorter University.  The host Hawks posted a 25-22, 25-16, 25-19 victory over PC to up their overall record to 7-1 on the season while the loss drops the Lady Lions to 9-3. 

JENNIFER OPPER posted a team-best seven kills on just 13 swings while teammate COURTNEY BRADSHAW posted six kills on 14 attacks.  Libero KATIE BYRD tallied 10 digs defensively while KATHERYN KNARR dished out 14 assists. 

Opper and KAITLIN NORMAN each posted a pair of solo blocks defensively.

Piedmont returns to action on Saturday, September 22 when the team travels down to Montgomery, AL to take part in a non-conference tri-match with host Huntingdon College and Covenant College.
