FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - After the completion of the regular season, Piedmont women's lacrosse team has earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming USA South Conference Tournament.
The Lions finished the regular season with an 8-1 mark in the USA South, with its only loss coming to #1 seed Meredith in the regular season finale this past Saturday.
The Lions will play host to No. 7 seed Greensboro on Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m.
Following the first round, the finals will be hosted at the site of the remaining highest seed in the tournament.
The tournament consists of the top-eight teams in the conference and is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 25 with first round games hosted by the higher-seeded team in that matchup.
The semifinals and finals are set for Thursday, April 30 and Saturday, May 2, respectively, on the campus of the highest-seeded team remaining after first round play.
