FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - For the 20th time in her career, Erin Donovan has been honored with a USA South Athletic Conference weekly award.

 


The senior standout from Southaven, Mississippi took home this week's award thanks to a thrilling individual win at the Golfweek October Classic on Oct. 14. 

 

Coming down the stretch, Donovan made birdies on two of her final three holes, including a dramatic birdie at the par-5 18th, hitting her approach to tap-in range to seal her ninth career individual victory as a Piedmont Lion.

Donovan was the only golfer out of the 120 competing at the event to finish at par or better.
 

She then finished tied for 36th at the Historic Triangle Invitational as Piedmont women's golf closed out its fall slate.
