DEMOREST, Ga. – Piedmont College will host a high school tennis showcase and benefit tennis tournament on campus during the month of October.

The high school tennis showcase will take place on Oct. 7 with registration ending on Oct. 1. The benefit tennis tournament will run from Oct. 19 through Oct. 21.

The showcase will include individual and group instruction from Piedmont College head men's tennis coach Dick Stockton and women's coach Trey Martin. The camp will also include instruction and tips about the college recruiting process as well as a tour of the campus.

The benefit tournament begins on Friday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. while the other two match times are 8 a.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Proceeds will all be used by the Piedmont Tennis team to travel to Orlando, Florida in the spring.

The cost is $20 for a singles slot and $30 for doubles. For participants playing in two events, he cost will be $30. It will be $40 for three events.
