MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Piedmont men's tennis concluded its fall season this past Thursday and Friday, in hidden dual tournament action at the Knapp Family Tennis Invite in Misenheimer, North Carolina.

Hosted by Pfeiffer University, the Lions also competed in singles and doubles competition against JWU (N.C.) and Methodist as well.

Fellow sophomore Horacio Rodriguez also delivered a notable performance in singles, winning two of his three matches. Rodriguez saw two of his three matches go into third set tiebreakers and he was able to come through as a winner against Methodist, winning the third set tiebreak 10-8.

Overall, five different Lions banked a singles win over the two days, with Jack Maddox, Charles Parnell and Amir Latipov emerging victorious once each.

Doubles play saw the Lions produce a solid 7-4 record as a team.

Parnell and Rodriguez went a perfect 2-0, with wins over duos from Pfeiffer (6-1) and Methodist (7-5). They both totaled three doubles wins for the event, however, with each adding a third win with a different partner.
