WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- A couple of weeks off from competition before hitting the road to participate in the Methodist Invitational in Belmont, North Carolina over the weekend of October 9-10, a Friday-Saturday competition that will be the fourth of four fall tournaments planned on the schedule.  

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:

INSIDE THE LINEUP:
- The Lions and Methodist split ten matches in singles on Friday while Methodist dominated Berry winning nine of ten matches. 
- Match scores ranged from close tiebreak victories like Kaleigh Stallworth's key victory on the one line to straight-set wins on lines two through seven as well as nine and ten.  

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Stallworth's Friday performance was one of the more impressive showings by a Lion as she rallied from a 4-6 loss in the first set to win a thrilling 7-5 decision in the second before eventually claiming the match 12-10 in the tiebreak. 
- Brenau's singles play performance against Berry on Friday was nuts as the Golden Tigers claimed all but one line against the Vikings, the #8 slot. 
- The staff and coaches who put on their second tournament of the fall season in just about two weeks working two 10-plus hour days to allow many of the Lions on the roster to get as many matches as possible.
