ATLANTA - After a dominant weekend that saw them clinch the Regular Season Conference Championship, Piedmont women's tennis was well represented in the league's weekly awards, released Tuesday afternoon.
Caroline Morrison took home CCS Player of the Week honors while the freshman duo of
Kaleigh Stallworth and
Ella Kate Canaday were named CCS Doubles Team of the Week.

The sophomore from Melbourne, Florida delivered an undefeated week in singles play, going 3-0 at the No. 3 position as Piedmont posted a 3-0 team record. She opened with a 6-2, retired win over LaGrange before earning a 7-6, 6-3 victory against Maryville. Morrison capped the week with a three-set battle against Asbury's Alexandra Garcia, securing a critical point for the Lions in a 4-3 win over the Eagles (6-1, 4-6, 7-5). In doubles, Morrison paired with
Sarah Sanabia to go 1-1 at No. 2, highlighted by a 6-1 win over Maryville. This marks Morrison's second CCS Player of the Week nod this season.

The freshman duo have been unstoppable as Piedmont's top doubles team, going 3-0 for the week, with all three being conference matches. The two rolled to a 6-1 victory against LaGrange before emerging victorious in hard-fought battles against Maryville (7-5) and Asbury (6-3). This marks Stallworth's third CCS Doubles Team of the Week nod with three different doubles partners. Canaday takes home her second CCS Doubles Team of the Week award and first with Stallworth as a partner.
