ATLANTA - Piedmont women's tennis sophomore
Caroline Morrison and freshman
Kaleigh Stallworth were named CCS Doubles Team of the Week, as the league office announced its weekly awards Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the fourth different doubles team to earn the top honor in the conference so far this season for the Lions. Stallworth has been a part of two of those teams, having previously earned honors with
Sarah Sanabia earlier this season.
Â
This also marks Morrison's second CCS weekly honor this season, as she was named CCS Player of the Week on Feb. 24.
Â
This week, the duo picked up a pair of wins at the No. 2 doubles spot on Sunday, as the Lions began their Orlando Spring Break Trip. The two began the week with a 6-4 win on Sunday morning against Cornell College before blanking Transylvania's No. 2 doubles team, 6-0, in the afternoon.
Having already picked up a win this morning against Minnesota-Morris, the Lions will play three more matches in Orlando over the next three days.
