DALTON, Ga. - While some of the team were off racing Gravel Rolls Holler in Wahalla, the majority of the team was in Dalton, Georgia, for the Dalton State Championship!

This road event was put on by Topview Sports and had two great days of racing.

Starting on Saturday with the Road race, Tyler Rogers won the men's cat 5. Jarod Gonzalez-Munoz got 4th in the men's cat 3.

Our new assistant coach, Emma Frost, also racked up some medals, winning the women's Cat 1/2.

Day two of racing was the crit. Emma Frost won the women's 1/2. Tyler Rogers got 2nd in the men's cat 5. Owen Lloyd won the men's 1/2/3 field sprint, but with a group up the road, he secured 6th place.

After bringing home two state champions, Emma Frost and Tyler Rogers, the Piedmont Cycling team is excited to race at Gateway Labor Day weekend.
