DAHLONEGA, Ga. - This past weekend, our mountain bike team went up to Dahlonega to race Fools Gold, put on by Mountain Goat Adventures. This race was 54 miles of trails in the mountains of North Georgia.

Our team kicked it out of the park this weekend! On the men's side, Shannon Himstedt placed 1st in the men's open 54. Pearson Bruhns placed 4th in the men's open 54. Ben Kolbie placed 5th in the men's 54.

For the women, Katie Prowell placed 5th in the women's open 54.

Our mountain bike team is taking some much-needed recovery after that grueling race, but will be back on September 27-28 for the SECCC Mountain Bike Conference Championship at Lee's McRae!
