CLEVELAND, Ga. - We kicked off the Collegiate Mountain Bike season this past weekend at Truett McConnell University!

Over a span of two days, our athletes raced four different events: XC, DS, STXC, and DH.  

The team started Saturday off with some cross-country racing! Owen Lloyd started the season off great with a win in the Men's B. Morgan Stephens also started her season off with a win in Women's B. Then we moved on to some dual slalom racing in the afternoon! 

On Sunday, the team raced short track and downhill. Owen Lloyd did it again and won in Men's B. Morgan Stephens also took home a second victory for the weekend, winning Women's B. Grace Wilson got 8th in Women's A.  

Overall, the team had a great first collegiate mountain bike race! We are excited to race at Ride Rock Creek next weekend for the second race of the season!
