DEMOREST, Ga. - Piedmont baseball's Zeke Swartz was named the Region Six Pitcher of the Year by D3baseball.com, as the organization announced its regional awards Tuesday morning.

In addition to his top pitcher honors, Swartz takes home All-Region First Team honors for the second consecutive season.

 


The awards are stacking up for the graduated senior left-hander, who was named Collegiate Conference of the South Pitcher of the Year and also was named Most Outstanding Senior Male Athlete by the Piedmont Athletic Department.

Swartz finished the 2025 season with a 6-1 record and an ERA of 1.96 and 84 strikeouts. Both his ERA and strikeouts led the CCS.

During the season, he was named CCS Pitcher of the Week twice and took a spot on the D3baseball Team of the Week following an 8.0 inning two-hitter with 13 strikeouts against No. 25 Emory.

This marks Swartz' second consecutive season earning D3baseball.com All-Region First Team honors.
