WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - With better weather in round two, scores improved across the board as
Erin Donovan shot an even par 72 in the NCAA DIII Women's Golf Championship.
The second round began as some teams were finishing round one following the lengthy weather delay on Tuesday.
Donovan began on one and carded a birdie out of the gate to bounce back with a hot start in round two. She birdied twice through the first four holes and again on eight to finish the front nine at two under.
On the back nine, Donovan made just two bogeys as she came in at even shooting up 27 spots on the leaderboard.
At the time of publication, no athlete was at better than even for the tournament.
Following the second round's completion, the cut is made with the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams continuing on.
