RICHMOND, Va. - The Piedmont University men's and women's swimming programs have been named to the College Swimming and Diving Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams list for the Fall 2024 semester.
This marks the ninth semester in a row for the women's program while the men's program has earned the honor for the third time.
In order to qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.
The men posted an average GPA of 3.53 while the women posted a 3.67 average GPA.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
