Demorest, Georgia - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams as presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps with Piedmont University's men's and women's swimming teams being two of 714 teams recognized across the country for outstanding academic achievement.
These teams, that represented close to 17,000 total student-athletes, were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point average and needed a 3.00 or higher to be recognized for the honor.
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."
The men's swimming team at Piedmont took the Scholar All-America status by virtue of a 3.24 GPA while the women, who finished ranked just outside the top 50 in Division III qualifiers, posted a 3.65 GPA.
