GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have released their Academic All-District teams for men's swimming and the Lions are well represented with four honorees.
Junior
Perry Westbrook earned a spot for the second time while sophomores
Henry Rickman,
Jake Kucera and
Carmen Yeager reached the list in their first year of eligibility.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 28 (women) and April 29 (men).
Westbrook earned a spot on the All-Conference list while being instrumental in the Lions three-peat at the Independent South Conference Championship. Westbrook won the 500 freestyle as well as the men's mile at the meet.
Henry Rickman | So. | Tiger, Ga.
Rickman was named to the All-Conference listing for his efforts during the season. Rickman took home a win in the 50 backstroke against Warren Wilson as well as assisting in both relays during the meet.
Jake Kucera | So. | Ellijay, Ga.
Kucera was also named to the All-Conference list. He is named to the CSC Academic All-District team in his first year of eligibility.
Yeager was named to the All-Conference team for his efforts during the season. Yeager earns the distinction in his first year of eligibility.
