The Belgian Waffle Ride in North Carolina is one of the biggest gravel events in the United States. Professional cyclists from across the country come out for this event. 

We had two athletes on the Piedmont cycling men's team participate. Ben Kolbie had a standout ride, placing 6th in the elite men's field! Shannon Himstedt also had a great ride, getting 13th in the elite men's field.

Piedmont looks to continue good work in upcoming gravel events.
