The Piedmont University cycling team headed over to Greenville, South Carolina, for the Hincapie Gran Fondo. This race consists of an overall and "King of the Mountain (KOM)," results. For the KOM results, there were timed segments on 3 separate climbs throughout the course. They then totaled these times to find who completed the climbs in the least amount of time.

Despite the stacked fields of competition, Ben Kolbie was able to win the KOM.

For the overall, Emma Frost placed 2nd in her age group for the gran. Kellen Baum placed 2nd in his age group for the medio.

Overall, the team had an outstanding day of racing.
