RICHMOND, Va. - The Piedmont University men's and women's swimming programs have been named to the College Swimming and Diving Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams list for the Spring 2024 semester. This marks the fourth year in a row for the women's program while the men's program has earned the honor for the first time, coming in back-to-back semesters for the entire 2023-24 academic year.

In order to qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 563 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.

The men posted an average GPA of 3.02 while the women posted an impressive 3.72 average GPA.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
