MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - The Piedmont University women's golf team concluded regular season action for the 2023-24 season Tuesday finishing in ninth place overall at The Deb Jackson Invitational.
Erin Donovan carded an even par 72 to finish the event in seventh place individually to lead the Lions.
Donovan was off to a strong start shooting one under on the back nine with three birdies. She was able to birdie hole nine on her final hole of the day to save par with a 72.
Sarah Fox posted the next best round of the day with a 78 including three birdies on the front nine while
Shelby Clark was just one stroke off Fox's total with a 79 in the third round.
Keegan Goins carded her best round of the tournament on the final day with an 80 while
Abigail Evans recorded an 86.
Emory won the team title as the Eagles' Sharon Mun continued to impress with a 70 in the final round to win the event shooting -6 over 54 holes.
Up next, Piedmont will await the USA South Conference Tournament which will be on April 22-24 in Spartanburg, S.C.
