SAVANNAH, Ga. - To conclude the Savannah Invitational, the Piedmont University women's golf team shot a 326 team score and finished 14th overall.
Erin Donovan led the Lions with a T16 finish as she was one of two Lions to shoot a 79 on Tuesday.
Donovan had three birdies in the round but 18 proved to be troublesome for many in round two.
Sarah Fox also made a 79 on day two, improving her first round by two strokes. Fox made an eagle with a two on 10 as she came down the stretch.
Keegan Goins and
Shelby Clark both made two birdies each as they both shot an 84 while
Abigail Evans improved with an 88.
Carnegie Mellon won the event as a team shooting seven over for the tournament while Samantha Wang won individually.
Up next for Piedmont, the Lions will compete at the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate on March 22.
