Season Recap: Women's Cross Country 2024

• The Lions finished third at the 2024 CCS Country Championships, but still walked away with one title.
• Junior Skyler Seeber won the individual title, crossing the line at the front of the pack by over 30 seconds. 
• Seeber's win is the second time in three years that the Lions have won the individual title as Jaycie Ponce won in 2022 at the inaugural CCS Championship. 
• Seeber earned All-CCS First team honors and CCS Runner of the Year as well. 
• The junior standout also earned CCS Runner of the Week twice during the season as well.

• Junior Skyler Seeber highlighted the meet for her squad, finishing in seventh place individually as the only DIII runner in the top 10.
• Seeber turned in a 19:30.7 as the first finisher for the Lions, narrowly holding off the eighth-place finisher by just under one second. 
• Junior Hannah Marlowe turned in a PR time of 21:34.1, while junior Bella Caccamo was not far behind with a PR of her own (21:48.9).
• Senior Tanea Davis and sophomore Hayden Linn rounded out the finishers for the Lions. Davis turned in a 22:36.3 while Linn ran a 26:12.7.
• Seeber earned her first CCS Runner of the Week honors of the season following the meet.

• Junior Skyler Seeber led the Lions from the front of the pack once again, running a 24:05.0 and placing 48th overall.
• Juniors Hannah Marlowe and Bella Caccamo were the next pair to cross, with Marlowe turning in a 26:29.3 while Caccamo posted a PR performance (27:24.3).
• Senior Tanea Davis crossed in 27:50.6 and freshman Josalyn Hallman made her debut for the program, running a 34:36.5.
• Seeber earned her second CCS Runner of the Week honors following the meet.

• Skyler Seeber put an exclamation mark on an excellent junior campaign, crossing the line in front of the pack by over 30 seconds to claim the 2024 individual CCS Women's Cross Country Title.
• As a team, the Lions took third place for the second consecutive season, with Asbury winning the team title with Covenant in second place.
• Junior Bella Caccamo improved her time from last year's race by over nine minutes to take 15th place, as she was the second Lion to cross the finish line.
• In her final race at Piedmont, senior Tanea Davis chopped off over six minutes from last season's time to crack the top 20, while Hannah Marlowe made it four Lions in the top 25 with a 24th-place finish.
• Freshman Josalyn Hallman came within 20 seconds of a PR performance and claimed 43rd overall as Victoria Drouin rounded out the pack for Piedmont but improved upon last year's time by over two minutes.
