FAIRBURN, Ga. – The Piedmont University women's cross country team took on the Georgia Tech XC Invitational early Friday morning. The Lions finished 19th out of 23 teams having just five individuals competing. 

Junior Skyler Seeber led the Lions from the front of the pack, running a 24:05.0 and placing 48th overall.

Juniors Hannah Marlowe and Bella Caccamo were the next pair to cross, with Marlowe turning in a 26:29.3 while Caccamo posted a PR performance (27:24.3).

Senior Tanea Davis crossed in 27:50.6.

Freshman Josalyn Hallman made her debut for the program, running a 34:36.5.

Up next, Piedmont travels to Salem, Virginia for the Roanoke XC Invitational on Saturday, October 19.
