OAKWOOD, Ga. – The Piedmont University women's cross country team took on the UNG Invite early Friday night. Junior
Skyler Seeber highlighted the meet for her squad, finishing in seventh place individually as the only DIII runner in the top 10.
Seeber turned in a 19:30.7 as the first finisher for the Lions, narrowly holding off the eighth-place finisher by just under one second.
Junior
Hannah Marlowe turned in a PR time of 21:34.1 while junior
Bella Caccamo was not far behind with a PR of her own (21:48.9).
Senior
Tanea Davis and sophomore
Hayden Linn rounded out the finishers for the Lions. Davis turned in a 22:36.3 while Linn ran a 26:12.7.
Up next, Piedmont travels to Spartanburg, S.C. for the Converse Kickoff on Saturday, September 21.
