ATLANTA, Ga. - DARIUS SMITH has been named CCS Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.

Smith traveled with the rest of the Lions squad to Lee University to compete this past weekend. He ran in the 800m dash, winning the competition with a 1:53.75 time in the event.

The Duluth, Ga. native is no stranger to awards as he named USTFCCCA All-Region for his Indoor season this year.

Smith and the Lions are back in action this weekend at the SWU GottaRun Invite on Saturday, April 1.
