MT. GILEAD, N.C. - The Piedmont women's golf B team completed the first round of the Jack Ingram Pfeiffer Invitational on Monday afternoon at The Tillery Tradition in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina.
All five Lions that competed in the event fired rounds in the 90's, headlined by a team-best 90 from sophomore
Caitlyn Chilito, who sits T-14 on the individual leaderboard.
As a team, Piedmont delivered a first round 371, placing them fifth out of seven through the first 18 holes.
Selah Anderson made par at the last on her way to a 93. Both
Abigail Evans and
Shelby Clark turned in 94's while
Keegan Goins shot a 97.Â
Brenau leads the event overall as a team with a 338 team score in round one. Round two is set for Tuesday.Â
