Demorest, GA - The Piedmont College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Agnes Scott Tuesday at Burgen Tennis Courts on senior day for
AMANDA BLACKWELL. The Lady Lions honored Blackwell and Robbie Werner prior to the matches as the lone seniors on each the women's and men's programs.
Covenant rolled through doubles play taking all three points with the closest matches coming at #1 and #3 dropping 8-4 decisions. The Lady Lions are now 2-2 at home this year with one home match remaining on Saturday, April 1 against Brooklyn College.
Piedmont has three conference matches remaining sitting at 2-2 in league play and in fourth in the USA South standings.

--Covenant swept through doubles play with 8-4 wins at #1 and #3 and an 8-0 sweep at #2.
Standout Performances
--Valeriya Zhurakovskaya nearly took the #6 singles match losing 6-4, 6-4.
