Lady Lions' Leader: t-70th-KENSLEY BROWN and JANA GUY (173 2-day total)Location: Baytown Golf Club in Miramar Beach, FloridaMiramar Beach, FL - After a rocky round 1, the Lady Lion golf team quickly got back on track in round two of the GolfWeek Fall Invitational on Monday posting a 336 one day after opening with a 377, a 41-stroke swing for the Green and Gold.
Each Lady Lion improved their scores from day one with the largest improvement coming from freshman JANA GUY who shaved 19 strokes off her first round score to fire a 2nd round 77 and a top 15 score for Monday. Guy's round moved her up to a tie for 70th with teammate Kensely Brown (92-81--173) as the two lead PC in the overall standings of the 90-player field.
Texas-Tyler moved into a first place tie with Sewanee after the Tigers led on day one outright, each has shot 618 over the first two days. Piedmont still sits in 18th place 95 strokes off the leaders. Standout Performances--
JANA GUY trimming 19 strokes off her first round with a 77 on day two, one of the largest such improvements in the 90-player field.

KENSLEY BROWN tying Guy for 70th in the tourney field by knocking off 11 strokes of her own to post an 81 on day two.
Lady Lions on the LeaderboardPiedmont as a Team on the Leaderboard News & Notes--No team has posted less than a 303 in any round of the tournament so far.
--Piedmont needs to catch Hardin-Simmons to move up on the leaderboard, a team that sits 34 strokes ahead of the Green and Gold.
Up NextThe final round of the Golfweek Fall Invitational with play on Tuesday. Piedmont will then have about two weeks off before returning to play in the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational hosted by Berry College at Coosa Country Club in Rome, Georgia.
