Lady Lions Tennis Overwhelmed by Methodist, 9-0

No. 2 Doubles was the Lady Lions closest shot at victory today at Methodist.

Fayetteville, N.C. - The Piedmont Lady Lions Tennis team fell to USA South Conference opponent Methodist University today, 9-0. The Monarchs took each match in straight sets. Piedmont's closest chance at a win came in No. 2 doubles; Ashley Fannon and Katie Sailors fought hard on the court but lost a nailbiter 9-7.

The Lady Lions even out at 6-6 overall and move to 6-2 in the USA South Conference. Their next opponent is USA South member Greensboro College tomorrow morning at 9:30 am in Greensboro, NC.
