DEMOREST, Georgia - The Piedmont College women's tennis team picjed up its fourth USA South Conference victory this afternoon defeating visiting LaGrange College by the score of 6-3. The Lady Lions claimed two of the three doubles points and four singles matches to improve to 4-1 in the conference.

Ashley Fannon and Katie Sailors earned an 8-3 victory at #2 doubles while Danielle Maffett and Erin Krause posted a hard-fought 8-6 victory at #3 doubles.

The Lady Lions also claimed the first four singles matches highlighted by Meghan Smith at #3 singles which proved to be the clinching point.

Piedmont, now 4-4 overall and 4-1 in the USA South, will return to action again on Saturday, March 23 as they host conference member Mary Baldwin College starting at 1:00.
