MARYVILLE, Tennessee --  The Piedmont women's tennis team evened their record Sunday afternoon with a 6-3 win over USA South Conference opponent Maryville College to move to 2-2 overall on the season.  The win also marks the Lady Lions second straight USA South Conference victory.  

The Lady Lions took control of the match early by winning all three doubles contests before moving into singles match play. 

Katie Sailors, Chelsea Prince, and Erin Krause each posted wins in singles competition for the Lady Lions. 

Piedmont (2-2, 2-0 USA South) will be back in action this Saturday in Demorest against non-conference opponent Millsaps College.  Match time is slated for 2:30 PM.
