Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College women's tennis team overtook visiting Emmanuel College this afternoon by a score of 6-3 at Burgen Tennis Courts.  The Lady Lions claimed all three doubles matches while taking three singles points to seal its fourth win of the season.

Seniors Tyler Baldonado and Lisa Jennings each posted a point at #2 and #5 singles respectively to lead PC.  Baldonado and doubles partner Jen Granlund also threw in an 8-6 win at #1 doubles en route to the 6-3 victory. 

The win improves Piedmont to 4-7 overall.  The Lady Lions will return to action when they travel to Great South Athletic Conference member Wesleyan College on Wednesday, April 7 with the match slated to begin at 3:30.
