Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College women's tennis team lost a conference battle with Great South Athletic Conference member Huntingdon College this afternoon at Burgen Tennis Courts. The Lady Lions were only able to grab a singles victory as Huntingdon swept all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches rolling to an 8-1 decision.
Senior
Mandy Beasley was responsible for PC's lone point taking a straight sets victory at #6 singles 6-4, 6-4.
The loss moves Piedmont to 4-9 overall and 1-4 in GSAC play. The Lady Lions hit the road to continue play this Wednesday, April 14 for a 3:00 match with Young Harris College.
