Demorest, GA --  The Piedmont College women's tennis team fell to Great South Athletic Conference member Maryville College this afternoon by the score of 7-2.  The Scots took two of the three doubles points while holding Piedmont to only one singles point. 

For the Lady Lions, the pair of Tyler Baldonado and Jen Granlund posted the lone doubles point, 8-5.  Lisa Jennings grabbed the singles point for Piedmont in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. 

The Lady Lions will return to action on Saturday, March 13th when they travel to Montgomery, AL to take on Millsaps College and GSAC host Huntingdon College beginning at 2:00.
