Chattanooga, TN -- The Piedmont College women's tennis team opened the 2010 season this afternoon at non-conference Covenant College and fell by the score of 9-0. The Scots posted straight-set victories in all six single matches and held the Lady Lions to only three points in doubles play.

PC, now 0-1 on the young season, will return to the court again on Saturday, March 6th as they host Great South Athletic Conference member Maryville College at Bergin Tennis Courts starting at 2:30.
