LaGrange, GA -- The Piedmont College women's tennis team was defeated by Great South Athletic Conference Member LaGrange College 6-3 on Sunday afternoon.  The Lions captured two singles points and one doubles point in the loss. 

For Piedmont, juniors Jennifer Granlund and Mandy Beasley each grabbed a point at #2 and #6 singles respectively.  The pair of Tyler Baldonado and Jennifer Granlund took the lone doubles point for the Lady Lions. 

Piedmont will return to action on Tuesday, March 16th when it hosts in-state rival Oglethorpe University with the match slated for 4:00.
