In a pair of south region matchups the Piedmont College women's tennis team fell to Sewanee-University of the South and Mississippi College this afternoon in Sewanee, TN by the scores of 9-0 respectively. The Lady Lions are still in search of their first victory and slide to 0-9 overall.

The women were unable to muster a single set in the shutout defeats. Piedmont will return to Great South Athletic Conference action on Thursday, April 9th as they travel to Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA starting at 3:00.
