New Orleans, Louisiana - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the winners of the Team All-Academic Award for the Spring 2026 semester with the Piedmont University women's program earning a spot on the prestigious list.  

To earn the honor, a team must carry a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester or quarter.  

Piedmont's women's program takes the honor this summer as one of three schools from the Collegiate Conference of the South taking the academic accolade with Asbury and Covenant joining the Lions on the USTFCCCA Team All-Academic Award listing. 

This is the 5th time in the last six years that the Piedmont University women's track and field team has been named to the USTFCCCA listing.  

For a team to qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award, its cumulative team GPA  of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.
