FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Piedmont men's lacrosse was well represented in this week's USA South weekly awards, sweeping all three as the league announced them Monday afternoon.

Noah McGriff, USA South Offensive Player of the Week
McGriff had a pair of career games during the week, helping the Lions to a 2-0 record to close out the regular season. The junior attackman from Cumming, Georgia totaled 15 points on 12 goals and three assists with seven ground balls over the two games. In a 22-10 win at Huntingdon, McGriff scored a career-high six times with one assist and two ground balls. In a 20-7 victory over Greensboro, McGriff notched four goals with a career-high five assists to go along with five ground balls, good for a career-best nine points. This marks McGriff's first career USA South weekly honor.
John Dieterly, USA South Defensive Player of the Week
The junior faceoff specialist from Asheville, North Carolina was 35-of-48 (.729) with 20 ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Lions against USA South rivals. In a 22-10 win at Huntingdon, Dieterly was 15-of-22 on faceoffs with eight ground balls. In a 20-7 victory over Greensboro, Dieterly won a season-high 20 faceoffs while losing just six to go along with grabbing 12 ground balls. notched four goals with a career-high five assists to go along with five ground balls. This marks his first career USA South weekly award.
Grady Eyler, USA South Rookie of the Week
The freshman attackman from Haymarket, North Carolina scored eight goals in a 2-0 week for the Lions against USA South rivals. In each game, a 22-10 win at Huntingdon and a 20-7 victory over Greensboro, Eyler scored four goals. Eyler has now taken home multiple USA South Rookie of the Week nods this season.
