FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South released its men's lacrosse postseason awards Thursday afternoon and three Lions were named to the listing.
Junior
John Dieterly, earned his spot on the first team from his excellence as a faceoff specialist while fellow juniors
Josh Tamarkin and
Will Isley earn their spots for their offensive work.
John Dieterly, All-USA South First Team (Faceoff Specialist)

Faceoffs Won: 152
Of Note: Dieterly aided the Lions all season on the faceoff front. Diertely collected two goals across the regular season for the Lions, showcasing the Lions quick offense from the faceoff.
Josh Tamarkin, All-USA South Second Team (Attack)
BY THE NUMBERS:
Goals: 37 (2nd on team)
Points: 67 (1st on team)
Assists: 30 (1st on team)
Of Note: Tamarkin transferred in this season for the Lions and has been a revelation. The junior made an immediate impact for Piedmont. Tamarkin has been the engine for the offense, leading the team in assists and points overall. He has also shown strong shots to the back of the net, sitting second on the team in overall goals with 37.

Of Note: Isley started and has played in 12 games for the Lions this season. Isley continues to be a strong presence for Piedmont, causing havoc in the midfield for opposing teams while also finding the back of the net 15 times this season.
