FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Piedmont men's lacrosse freshman attackman Grady Eyler has earned USA South Rookie of the Week honors, announced Monday afternoon.

The Haymarket, Virginia native had a big week for the Lions, exploding for a season-high seven goals in a 19-9 non-conference home win over Hendrix on Thursday. His seven goals tied for the most scored by a Lion this season.


 


Eyler followed the seven goal performance with a two-goal game in a road loss at Pfeiffer, which currently sits atop the USA South standings.

He currently leads the Lions this season with 27 goals.

Up next, Piedmont will host conference foe William Peace on Senior Day, scheduled for this Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m.
