RICHMOND, Va. - The Piedmont University men's and women's swimming programs have been named to the College Swimming and Diving Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams list for the Spring 2025 semester.
This marks the 10th semester in a row for the women's program while the men's program has earned the honor for the fourth time.
To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.
The men posted an average GPA of 3.41 while the women posted a 3.75 average GPA.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes.
