Moved up to the No. 1 spot in the lineup following the departure of multiple seniors off last year's team, McSpadden has picked up where she left off, delivering three dominant wins at the top spot in the lineup.

In the team's spring season and home opener on Saturday, Feb. 8, she dispatched Truett McConnell's number one singles player, she did not drop a game (6-0, 6-0) in a 7-0 Piedmont victory.

Then, as the Lions traveled to North Carolina this past weekend, she took down Methodist's Emma Hulicki 6-2, 6-2 as Piedmont rallied from down 1-0 after doubles to prevail 5-2 on the road.

Later that same Saturday, McSpadden rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win at Meredith.

In total, the senior from Flowery Branch, Georgia dropped just five total games in singles over the three matches.

Additionally, she picked up a win at No. 1 doubles with Bri Laidman, 6-4, over Truett McConnell.

Up next, the Lions are scheduled for a lengthy break from dual action before returning at Belhaven on Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m.
