COLUMBIA, S.C. - Piedmont women's swimming took to the road for the first time this season and remained unbeaten, racing past Columbia and Greensboro in double dual action on Sunday afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Lions were able to take home victories in 11 of the 14 events that were contested.
Eight different Lions earned either relay or solo wins during the meet, headlined by four total wins each from
Madison Nance and
Kelly Mashburn, with Nance capturing three solo victories (100 IM, 200 IM, 50 breast).
Caroline Massaro,
Olivia Smith,
Grace Kopf and
Sydney Trafton all totaled a single individual win during the meet while
Tressie Polk was victorious in both 200 relays (free and medley).
In the team's final event of the meet,
Sydney Addison was able to get on the board, teaming with Mashburn, Massaro and Polk to win the 200 free relay with a time of 1:52.00
Up next, the Lions will be in double dual action on the road on Saturday November 9 at Greensboro, taking on the Pride and Southern Virginia.
