GREENSBORO, N.C. - The 10th-ranked Piedmont men's golf team concluded play on Tuesday afternoon at the Gate City Invitational in Greensboro, North Carolina.
After entering the day in 15th, the Lions fell back two spots to collect a 17th-place finish.
Piedmont opened with a 308 on Monday morning before improving by eight strokes in the afternoon with a 300. The team split the difference in Tuesday's final round, firing a team score of 303..
The Lions were led by a pair of 74's from
JOSH HEBRINKÂ and
ADAM ROGERS, with Rogers pacing the team overall in the event, coming in T-48th with a 3-over 74, his second 74 of the event.

Rogers and Hebrink fired identical rounds with a pair of birdies to go with five bogeys.

Freshman
JACOB DEJESUS bounced back on Tuesday, carding a 76 with a birdie and nothing worse than bogey on his card.
Piedmont's final counting score came from
CAM LUCAS, who delivered a 79 while
TOM YAO fell back after an impressive second round, shooting a final round 80 (+9).
Emory's Jackson Klutznick caught fire on Tuesday, with a 10-under 61 to run away with the individual title by 11 shots. HIs performance helped propel the Eagles to a runaway win on the team side as well.
Up next, the Lions will take on the Tartan Invitational at Laurel Valley in Pennsylvania, beginning Monday, October 9.
