CAM LUCAS shared individual medalist honors with two other golfers as the No. 10 Piedmont men's golf team opened its fall season on Sunday at the Greystone Fall Invitational in Dickson, Tennessee.
In the one day, 36-hole event, Lucas delivered a personal best round not once, but twice on Sunday, opening with a 1-under 71 in the morning before backing it up with an even better second round, a 2-under 70 to finish at -3 for the event, tied with Huntingdon's Zachary Coker and Oglethorpe's Michael O'Sullivan.

The junior from Vernon, Connecticut made six birdies in his opening round and five more in the final round playing for Piedmont's B Team.Â

On the team side, the tournament format saw teams of six with four counting scores. One Piedmont team took home third place while the Piedmont B Team took fifth. Oglethorpe and the Huntingdon B Team tied for the team title at even par.
The pack of six newcomers was led by
DOUG GUGEL, who bounced back from an opening 78 to tie for the team-best round of the day, carding a 2-under 70 in the final round.
After a solid debut season as a freshman in 2022-23,
ADAM ROGERS banked a T-8 finish thanks to solid rounds of 73 and 72 on the day.
