DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont University basketball programs are set to host summer camps again this year. Below is information on each camp and the age ranges for each set of dates.
Summer Basketball Camp (July 31-August 3, 8:00-noon, rising 1st-6th grade boys and girls). This camp is good for beginner and more advanced players with a focus on having fun while working on basketball fundamentals through drills and competitive games. Both on campus gyms are used to help separate campers based on age, gender, and skill level. Cost is $110 and includes a camp t-shirt.
Advanced Instruction/3v3 Camp (July 31-August 3, 2:00-4:00, rising 7th-9th grade boys and girls). This camp is geared toward older and more advanced players. Camp will be one hour of instruction and one hour of live 3v3 play using the constraints taught during the first hour. Campers will be separated based on gender for 3v3 play. Cost is $70 and includes a camp t-shirt.
Boys' Elite Camp (August 6, 2:00-6:00, rising 9th-12th grade boys). This camp is for high school boys who are interested in college basketball. Camp will include college level individual and team drills, a college scouting report, live play, and conversations with current college players and coaches. Cost is $55 and includes a camp t-shirt.
