ATLANTA - The Collegiate Conference of the South released its weekly baseball and softball awards on Monday afternoon and both programs had representation.
NATHAN MIX took home Player of the Week honors for baseball and was matched by
MADISON HENRY, who was honored with Softball Player of the Week honors.

The senior shortstop from Columbus, Ohio had a big weekend as the Lions took 2-of-3 at home from Berea. Overall, Mix was 6-for-9 on the week with six RBI and four runs scored. He had an incredible doubleheader performance on Saturday, going a combined 5-for-5 with all six of his RBI and all four of his runs scored for the week. In game one of the series against Berea, Mix delivered his team-leading third triple of the season.

MADISON HENRY, Softball Player of the Week
Henry's bat broke out in a big way over four contests this past week, all conference wins for the Lady Lions. The senior from Madison, Georgia had multiple hits in all four games for Piedmont with two three-hit games mixed in. Henry began the week by going 5-for-7 in a home doubleheader sweep over Agnes Scott on Wednesday, driving in four runs total with three coming in game one. However, she saved her best for the weekend, launching a home run in both sides of the doubleheader as Piedmont swept Covenant on the road. She went 5-for-7 with two home runs, six RBI, five runs scored and two doubles on the day.
